Tamie joined Rudd & Company as a staff accountant in the Rexburg office in January of 2002 after working seasonally in the Idaho Falls office for two years. She is involved with a wide range of tax and financial issues as well as audit services for governmental and for-profit entities.
Education
Tamie is a native of the Sugar City area. After high school in Sugar City, she graduated with honors from LDS Business College in 1991. Tamie later returned to Idaho State University to receive a Bachelors of Accounting degree, graduating with honors in 1999.
Experience
Prior to accepting a full time position with Rudd & Company, Tamie worked as an accounting office manager at Wal-Mart in Rexburg for 11 years. She was involved in cash budgeting, reconciliation, and various other accounting issues as well as personnel training and oversight. While still attending Idaho State University, Tamie accepted an internship position with Rudd & Company, and was involved heavily in various tax issues.
Professional
Tamie is a member of the AICPA and the Idaho society of CPAs. She is involved in volunteer work with the community, her church and her children’s schools. She is currently serving as president of the Sugar-Salem Education foundation.
Family
Tamie and her husband Layne live on their farm in Salem with their three children where they enjoy various outdoor activities and lots of hard work! Tamie also enjoys gardening, water skiing, quilting and spending time with family and friends.
