Brent Walker joined Rudd & Company in December of 2010. Brent's primary areas of focus are Federal and State taxation and small business consulting. He grew up in southeastern Idaho and graduated high school from Sugar-Salem High School. He attended Brigham Young University-Idaho where he graduated with a bachelor degree in accounting. He then went on to The Ohio State University where he received a Masters degree in accounting.

From  OSU, Brent joined the tax department of the Columbus, OH office of KPMG LLP where he worked on large corporate, partnership, and non-profit tax returns. This allowed him in-depth training on a wide range of tax issues. Brent has experience assisting SEC clients with preparation and review of tax provisions.  In addition, Brent worked with the Accounting Method and Credit Services practice of KPMG assisting clients in implementing beneficial tax accounting methods to help clients receive immediate tax benefits or eliminate potential tax exposure areas.

Brent is currently a member of the American Institute of CPAs.Brent currently lives in Belgrade with his wife, Maurisa, and their three children, Aubree, Garrett, and Darren.They enjoy the various outdoor activities that Montana has to offer.
