
Tamie Ball
Tamie joined Rudd & Company as a staff accountant in the Rexburg office in January of 2002 after working seasonally in the Idaho Falls office for two years. She is involved with a wide range of tax and financial issues focusing on small business and farming operations.
Tamie is a native of the Sugar City area. After high school in Sugar City, she graduated with honors from LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1991. Tamie later returned to Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho to receive a Bachelors of Accounting degree, graduating with honors in 1999.
Prior to accepting a full time position with Rudd & Company, Tamie worked in the business office of a large retailer in the area for over 11 years. She also did contract bookkeeping for several companies in the area while finishing school. While attending Idaho State University, she accepted an internship position with Rudd & Company and was involved with various tax scenarios. She has had experience with all aspects of QuickBooks as well as the special tax and financial issues relating to construction and farming businesses. Tamie helps numerous individuals and small businesses with tax planning and other consulting work.
Tamie is a member of the AICPA and the Idaho Society of CPA's. She is involved in volunteer work in her community, her church and with her children’s schools. She is currently the treasurer for the Sugar Salem Education Foundation and is serving as the president of the Central Elementary PTO for the 2009-2010 school year.
Tamie and her husband Layne live on their farm in the Salem area. They have three children who are involved with lots of activities that keep the family busy. She enjoys being outdoors, gardening, quilting and spending time with family and friends.
