Chad joined the Idaho Falls office of Rudd & Company as a staff accountant in August 2003. He works extensively in the diverse tax services offered by the firm, including tax consulting, planning, and preparation for individuals and businesses. Chad has also been involved in audits of a wide variety of clients, including privately-held businesses, financial institutions, non-profit organizations, local governmental entities, and pension plans.

Chad was raised on a family farm in the Roberts area north of Idaho Falls. He graduated from Rigby High School and continued his education at Utah State University where he majored in accounting. Chad graduated summa cum laude and went on to receive his Master of Accounting degree from Utah State with an emphasis in taxation. As a graduate student, Chad was recognized as the Outstanding Accounting Student by the Utah Association of CPAs.

Chad is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Idaho Society of CPAs. He is actively involved in the Exchange Club of Idaho Falls and currently serves as the club’s secretary and treasurer.

Chad and his wife Sarah live in Idaho Falls with their three children. They enjoy motorcycling, attending Utah State sporting events, and spending time with family and friends.
