Steve graduated as Valedictorian from Madison High School in Rexburg, Idaho, in 1998. He graduated with honors from Ricks College/Brigham Young University-Idaho in 2001. In 2005, he graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Accountancy in Tax.
Steve, a Certified Public Accountant, joined Rudd & Company in the fall of 2006. He had previously worked in the Seattle Tax Practice at Grant Thornton LLP, an international accounting firm.
Throughout high school, college, and beyond, Steve has actively participated in sports, public speaking, theater, music, student government, and the Boy Scouts of America. Steve and his wife, Merissa, live in Belgrade, Montana, and they are expecting their third child.
