Preston is a manager in the Rexburg office. He is experienced in audits of construction and development companies, homeowners associations, non-profit organizations, pension plans, financial companies, agricultural companies and other small businesses. He is also involved in financial and tax planning for both individuals and businesses.
EDUCATION
Preston grew up on one of the largest multi-vegetable farms in Alberta, Canada. After high school in Canada, he moved to Rexburg, Idaho to attend Ricks College. He then transferred to Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah after two years at Ricks College. Preston graduated from BYU in April 1999 and received a Masters of Accountancy degree.
EXPERIENCE
While in Provo, Preston gained accounting experience by working for BYU's Student Auxiliary Services building accounting database programs for various departments on campus. He then went to work for Fred A. Lockwood & Co. in Scottsbluff, Nebraska after graduating from BYU. After working in Nebraska for three years, Preston moved back to Rexburg, Idaho to work for Rudd and Company. He has been involved in various projects in both audit and nonaudit work.
PROFESSIONAL
Preston is a member of the AICPA and the Idaho society of CPAs. He is also involved with the Rexburg Kiwanis Club and has served as the club's treasurer.
FAMILY
Preston and his wife Anjanette live in Rexburg, Idaho with their four children Marcus, Mckenna, Graycee and Nickolas.
